03How it is built
Static HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with no framework. The same nav, footer, search palette and small set of mission-style parts are shared across pages. Light and dark themes both work, and motion is turned down for people who ask for it. Visits are counted without cookies, and the totals are public on the Site stats page.
Python scripts, one per dataset, in the data folders next to the JSON they write. The checks and what each one found are written down in VERIFY.md, including the problems found in publishers' own tables.
The light on the globe and the local sunrise and sunset are computed in your browser from the date and the hub's position.
Designed and built with help from AI tools (Claude), with every number checked against its primary source.
